Join the New Mexico Women’s Bar Association, Secretary of State Maggie Toulouse Oliver, Representative Gail Chasey, Esq. - House Majority Floor Leader, District 18, and Alisa Lauer - Chief of Staff to Rep. Chasey, as they tackle the impact of AI on state and national elections.
House Bill 182 passed in the 2024 New Mexico Legislative Session changing election law in our state. We will discuss the new frontier of AI which brings significant changes to elections and campaigns. Our guests will discuss the need for the new law, the historical context, future implications for elections and campaigns, and how HB 182 provides the Secretary of State with tools to address the use of AI in campaigns.
